They came
And promised me fame
So I fell to their game
That my life may not remain thesame

But little did I know that they framed their aim
To claim
The remaining money attached to my name

Oh! How I wish I never fell into their flame?

 Yea Miss Aina..Oga Paul..
now that you’ve fell into their flame;
I just hope you’ve learnt from their game;
And I pray it never turn you insane..

Now that you’ve learnt the bitter way,
My lyrical chap i’ll say,
Next time you watch your way,
So you wouldn’t end up again this way,
And don’t let this escape your brain,
It not always about the money and fame

Though, I’ve learnt from it
Truth be told I can’t run from it
I’m glued to it
I ve to lure others through it
So that I also can make it.

My advice to you Paul again
Is to be truthful in your ways
Trust God as always
And hey!
Never look up to human way
For amazing grace..

 Haste
Is waste
Like fallen toothpaste
On dusty rug with underlay
Make we try
Wait for our day
Or rush today
And later pay;
We hold the choice fully
By the way

THE SUGAR ANTS WAY

My lonely back lay
Where I woke and prayed
I couldn’t but stay
Watching sugar ants way

On their sudden walkway
Not far from my bay
Where ants on their way
Must talk and hug and play
With ants that come their way
As the thin and fat play
Old and young the same way
As ugly and beauty play
Rich and poor the same way
But bother not about delay
They must talk and hug and play
While they come and walk away
So I asked where I stayed
If the ants could be friendly
Why not take one another this way?

CHEAP WAY TO CURE MIGRAIN

Eat blatterdock if fresh and plain
But eat the ones with petasin
And watch what enters your intestine
Could be anything I can’t define
Having sit-ups up to thirty nine
Will stretch your neck, back and spine
Rich magnesium is rich norepinephrine
Poor norepinephrine will make stress begin
So take magnesium for rich norepinephrine
Then stay in the dark with no lighting
And thinking of poems with sweet rhyming
Like ticking and tocking goes the timing
Since white is snow what of liming
And all the squirrels do go climbing
Show me the man who hates rhyming
And I’ll show you the man who loves lying
Surprisingly in no timing
In no timing this shall cure your migrain
Have I ascertained again and again
Mitochrondial boost is good for the brain
So buying CoQ10 can cure your migrain
Please, doubting Thomas with doubting brain
Go visit a specialist in your domain.

He who holds what can benefit but decides to bury it is not less than a heartless murderer. What works for Mr. P might not work for Mr. Q. So we hold no responsibility for any harm because this poem is just an eye opener or a little way to help your situation.

Gifts are bestowed to all beings…

That all beings be good for something
Like Usain bolt is good for running
Okigbo, Mandela, Phil Colins
And Mike Tyson are good for something
Michael Jordan is good for dunking
Daniel Wilson is good for singing
And pastor Chris is good for preaching
While Will Smith is good for filming
Famous Wowo is good for casting
Gary Kasparov is good for mating
While me for controversial rhyming
That many people love miming
I appreciate those condemning ME
Because they are good for nothing.

MOTHER

Photo: MOTHER Mother! Your love is in my head I wish I could use passion instead You are precious than pearls in the hand And the neck of queen of England You are the only gold crested in diamond And this rejuvenates me like almond. Your love is in my head And I can't forget the days we fed And nights we slept so unfed And how well we were treated When stomarch ache or ache in the head Plus malaria, the wicked malady pinned us to the bed. And mother! Your love is in my head Your love is now stronger in my head For when you deprived me of your breast fed I thought you were so wicked Not knowing you wanted Me to grow and understand The joy of sucking ladies breast. HOW TO MAKE A CHANGE

If you were born in east
But made to grow in west
Where rag was only best
Of cloths that cloth your chest

You have to be my guest
Of good better best
We shall never rest
Until we build our nest
Up to our poetry best
For poetry as our zest
Can make our hero quest
To change the world to best
While with our breathing breast
And when we’re made to rest
‘Cos we have done our best
And have to leave the rest
Though men may mock or jest
But God knows the best.
