THE SUGAR ANTS WAY

My lonely back lay
Where I woke and prayed
I couldn’t but stay
Watching sugar ants way

On their sudden walkway
Not far from my bay
Where ants on their way
Must talk and hug and play
With ants that come their way
As the thin and fat play
Old and young the same way
As ugly and beauty play
Rich and poor the same way
But bother not about delay
They must talk and hug and play
While they come and walk away
So I asked where I stayed
If the ants could be friendly
Why not take one another this way?
